Save The Date! Annual Congress 2023 |
|
|
We are happy to announce that our Annual Congress 2023 will take place on November 29 and 30 in Amsterdam. Please save the date and join us! |
Worldwide 19.3 million people are diagnosed with cancer each year. The numbers are growing and the majority of those who die from cancer live in low- and middle-income countries. There are a number of reasons for this e.g. lack of awareness, late-stage diagnoses, lack of access to medicine etc. however, in the end, it all comes down to global inequality.
At Inspire2live we are raising our voice to find a global solution to the global disease which is cancer. This requires awareness, education and the involvement of current and future patients, physicians, researchers, regulators, industry representatives and payers, because they all have their part of responsibility. We have to be at the table to bring in our voice: |
'If About Us, Not Without Us |
With the community that Inspire2live has built over the years, with more than 90 professional volunteers in 37 different countries, we are able to discuss matters with healthcare decision makers on an equal footing. We do this by creating a coalition of the willing to influence the people who pull the strings. This means involving all stakeholders, not only by talking but by executing on a clear project plan and our annual congresses have proven to be the start of many such initiatives.
Topics for this year’s congress are advocacy, molecular diagnostics, early detection, data, registries, quality of life, personalised medicine and paediatric cancers. Click here for our programme >>

Inspire2Live was founded in the Netherlands in 2010 and works globally with professional volunteers. We have initiated dozens of projects by simply bringing the right people together and supporting them to cooperate productively.
Not just talking about cooperation but really working together and delivering concrete results and this is what distinguishes us from most other organisations. We are also supported by our ambassadors, including several Nobel prize winners who wholeheartedly endorse the Inspire2Live agenda. |

Pain Management & Early Detection |
|
|
|
When we started working globally in 2020, we realised just how many patients are not receiving effective pain relief medication. Hence our Pain Management project which is part of the Inspire2Live vision of dealing with cancer globally, which we also call ‘bottom-up cancer support’. We also know we have more treatment options available than when diagnosis occurs in stage IV of cancer. Therefore we started our Early Detection of Cancer project.
As a result we recently visited various instances in Kenya an Tanzania to present multi-cancer early detection (MCED) and effective pain management solutions. More about this visit >>

Your donation save lives. It's that simple! |
1 out of 3 people get’s cancer in their lifetime. In the Netherlands that is a total of about 110,000 people per year, 12 people per hour! Worldwide that's 1 person every 3 seconds. People like you, me, with partners, children, parents, brothers, sisters and friends.
More research and improved access and implementation of treatments, aftercare and prevention are necessary. The global battle against cancer can and must go faster, smarter and above all in the interest of all people living with cancer and for a better quality of life for cancer patients worldwide.
Thank you for your generosity! |
